1. Timid in Tirana

Tirana was like nowhere I had ever been before. Quite an interesting experience to have. Most people told me it was not safe to visit. However, I’m always up for a new challenge. The Et'hem Bey Mosque & Clock Tower was my favourite piece of architecture in the city. The ZETA Center for Contemporary Art was intriguing as well. Also the Bunk’Art Museums take you through the history and transport from another time to present. Then if you’re up for climbing, the Pyramid of Tirana is quite the adventure. For an afternoon hike, the Datji Mountain National Park is worth a trek. All images taken by Niya Sinckler.
